Worship t Praise Praise is very important here at Heritage Baptist Church, it is honestly a gift to God from our hearts. We feature a blended worship service. This means that we offer a mix of traditional and contemporary songs for corporate praise. We have various talent throughout the church which include; soloist, a 30 member adult choir, Ladies Ensemble, Jr. Girls Ensemble, and various quartets and trios. Each service is prayed over and designed to lift your spirit and challenge your soul to praise Him with your voice. Prayer Prayer is another key element in our church. It is so important we have a collective prayer Sunday morning at 9:30am and Wednesday nights during the evening service. A church that doesn't pray will not last!! Our pastor brought a message one Sunday about men in Acts who prayed so hard that the walls began to shake!! Wouldn't that be awesome if we could see God's power like that again through our prayers!! So prayer is very important to further what God is trying to do in His church. Partners Preaching Each week we are brought into God's presence through the preaching of His Word. Our pastor brings what God has laid on his heart to the hearts of the believers. John spends his time studying and finding out God's will for this church. Giving
Last but not least giving
is important here at Heritage. Giving to
the Lord is an honor. This giving takes on many forms. All should give
financially, because we are told to in God's Word. At Heritage Baptist
Church, we believe in tithing. We also believe in giving gifts on top of
the tithe. Our church takes part in giving to missions. Each year this
giving actually represents about 20% of our giving, and every penny of
that goes to missions.
